Guido Ortenzio

Licensed Real Estate Agent

Guido Ortenzio joins the Home NY family with a diverse background of experience. Guido owned and managed the Movie Star Hotel in California for 3 years. He spent 12 years in the banking industry with Bank of America and 4 years with Barclay’s Bank of California. After so many years of working in the bank environment, Guido decided that he needed to follow his heart to help people with disabilities.

Guido found the perfect position to fulfill his desire to help, at United Cerebral Palsy of NYC, where he managed a Family Reimbursement Program. His main responsibilities consisted of helping families obtain durable medical equipment.

Working at UCP of NYC opened other doors of volunteer opportunities that Guido was also very interested in pursuing. Guido started the Children’s Winter Coat drive for UCP 6 years ago. He would collect over 100 coats per year and donates them to children in need. In addition, he volunteers with “God’s Love We Deliver” in which he delivers meals to homebound individuals.

Finding himself at another crossroads in his career, Guido most recently decided to work towards a Real Estate License because of his love of NYC and the desire to help people (once again!) find the perfect home.

Guido will focus on the communities of Middle Village, Maspeth, Ridgewood, Glendale, Rego Park, Woodside and East Elmhurst. He has lived in Middle Village with his partner for 10 years and is embedded in the community. Guido can confidently provide a wealth of information regarding the area, from schools and neighborhoods to the most current trends in the real estate market. As a result of his ongoing involvement in his community, Guido has established his legitimacy as a trusted and dedicated professional amongst all his friends and colleagues.

Guido looks forward to embracing the challenge and excitement of pairing home seekers with their dream home in the perfect neighborhood. Contact Guido today to schedule an appointment to view any listing you are interested in!
